Place clean decontaminated items into the basket. Place basket into FLASH-GUARD® container. Our Instrument Rack should be used when sterilizing large items or specialized instrument trays.

2. MONITOR

Place approved Level 5 or 6 Integrator inside exhaust port, or position FLASH-GUARD® Monitor Holder with Integrator and Biological Indicator if needed inside exhaust port for easy removal and sterilization cycle.

3. STERILIZE

To sterilize unwrapped items using the FLASH-GUARD® System in a Pre-Vacuum or Gravity Sterilizor, OPEN EXHAUST PORT fully. Slide lid forward 3 inches for sterilization parameters to be obtained.

4. TRANSPORT

At completion of sterilization cycle use the universal handle to slide FLASH-GUARD® Lid closed. Remove Integrator from Exhaust port and position on top of FLASH-GUARD® lid and Biological Indicator if needed. Aggressively close Exhaust Port Door and pull FLASH-GUARD® Unit onto Transport Cart using universal handle. Transport FLASH-GUARD® system to point of use.
